Jon Gibson, President of Jon Gibson Company and former U.S. Air Force Pilot, is a real estate developer who has developed residential and business properties covering more than 1,000 acres in eight cities over the last 36+ years. Though the company initially focused on commercial projects, it has planned residential subdivisions to accommodate over 2,000 homes in the Sacramento Valley. The company changed its focus over the years from developing their own properties to the acquisition of existing retirement and multi-family communities in Idaho and the Pacific Northwest.
Jon and Marylois, his wife of almost 50 years, possess the hearts of philanthropists, and a passion to preserve the traditional family. They care deeply about helping "at risk" youth reach their full potential. They are the proud parents of two incredible children and six of the brightest and best grandchildren! Jon and Marylois live in the Sierra foothills east of Sacramento along with their horses.
Marcus was born and raised in the Sacramento area. He obtained his degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA. After graduation, Marcus turned his internship into a full-time position with Sandia National Laboratories as a Nuclear Weapons Modeling and Simulation Software Engineer. After 5 years of living in the east bay area, in 2009, Marcus became a full-time telecommuter and moved back to the slower pace of the foothills. Since that time, Marcus has become the very proud father of three wonderful children. Marcus joined Jon Gibson Company in 2011 on a part-time basis to learn about and help the business where appropriate. While still maintaining his career with Sandia, Marcus has been involved in a variety of activities with JGC from IT needs to new investment opportunities ranging from oil drilling to technology startups.

Sarah Mestanza, a native of Vancouver, Canada moved to the Hawaiian Islands after attending the University of British Columbia. Seeking warmth and adventure she moved to Maui. Over the 16 years spent on the islands, she would prove her abilities as a creative, and hardworking business owner. From wedding coordinator to graphic designer and publisher of the Maui Real Estate Property Guide magazine, Sarah knows what it takes to run a business with Aloha. Sarah sought out and invested in several properties throughout Maui and The Big Island of Hawaii, taking on the roles of a general contractor, landlord, property manager, and hands-on laborer when needed! Seeking better educational opportunities, closeness to family, and more outdoor activities, the decision was made to move to Northern California. (And yes, she does miss the ocean.) Asides from mountain biking, OneWheeling, river rafting, hiking, paddle boarding, skiing, and taking lots of photos, Sarah devotes time to helping those in need through her church and is thrilled to work for a company whose operational philosophy states "we will treat each other, our customers, vendors and ourselves with respect and genuine concern for our well-being." Sarah joined the team in January of 2015 and has become an integral part of Jon Gibson Company's success.
Jan was born and raised in the Bay Area of Northern California. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Graphic Design from The California State University Sacramento in 1995. Years later, she started a family with her husband where they resided in the Sacramento Valley. Jan has a passion for art, photography, travel, baseball and gardening. She loves to take her camera on destinations to capture the beauty of nature and to document family memories. Her proudest accomplishment is her two children. Between church activities, sports, volunteer hours and school, she has had a very busy lifestyle. She is thrilled to have been welcomed on the Jon Gibson Company Team in 2021. She looks forward to the opportunities to learn and grow in her career in an environment that instills a sense of integrity and strong family values.

Dale Metzger was raised in the beautiful Black Hills in Lead South Dakota. He joined the Parkwood Management team in 2010, and since that time he has worked full-time as the Head Maintenance Technician. As of late 2014, Dale has assumed the role of On-Site Manager for Parkwood. Dale’s leadership, management expertise and hands-on skills are what help distinguish Parkwood as a leader in quality living and service.
Jenece Brown spent all her life here in Washington State. She joined the Parkwood team in mid-2020 as the Assistant Manager. She comes to us with over 20 years of administrative & contract management experience, as well as proven customer service skills. Jenece's desire to provide unmatched services and focused work ethic are the reason Parkwood is a premier living community.
